Terri Schuldt, Secretary

Terri is the Secretary of the Board of Directors. She is a Pediatric Occupational

Therapist who graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1993.

Terri’s background includes co-founder of the Jacksonville School for Autism, grant

writing, fundraising and management. Terri’s 21-year-old daughter Sarah was

diagnosed with non-verbal Autism at the age of 2 and has learned to communicate

through typing. Terri feels strongly that we must think creatively about housing

options to avoid institutionalization and isolation for our most vulnerable

populations. Bureaucracy will not solve the housing crisis that is headed our way.

The time to act on this is now! Aging in place within our own homes, within our

own community, and supporting one another is the ideal outcome.
